After a game a few years back, friend and I took the Mt Tabor route out

of Blacksburg. We got maybe 3 miles down that road, perhaps less, when we came to a spot where someone had left the gate into a cow field open, and 3 cows were standing there in the road. No way by them.

We sat there for a moment, trying to figure out "what the heck do we do? Should one of us get out and shoo them back in?"

My friend honked the horn. I guess it scared them as all 3 ran back into the field.
